Job Purpose
Carrying out Health & Safety consultancy and training services, providing timely reports, documentation and advice/assistance as required.
Job Overview
Safetyboss is looking for a hardworking and professional Health & Safety person, with a high level of technical knowledge and people experience. You will have the ability to build strong relationships and deliver high quality, bespoke consultancy and training services. Ideally you will be a chartered member of The Institution of Occupational Safety & Health or equivalent or working towards this. Training experience is required, and a training qualification desirable.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
  • To visit client premises (75% within M25 corridor) for the purpose of carrying out agreed contractual work, such as audits, fire risk assessments, training, noise assessments, risk profiling.
  • Advise and instruct clients in the use of Health and Safety Management systems and other relevant technical documents and online services
  • Liaise with the HSE and other Enforcing Authorities on behalf of clients when required to do so
  • Assist clients with accident or other special investigations as required
  • Advise clients on matters of Health and Safety standards and best practice affecting their business
  • Provide high quality management reports as required
  • Manage time effectively to provide an effective and efficient service to clients
  • Supporting the client through effective crisis management where required
  • Attend regular meetings at the Head Office in Woodbridge

  • Ability to deliver training courses -both client internal and professional
  • An all-round people person with a ‘can do’ attitude,
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong Health and Safety technical knowledge ideally within an engineering background
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Ability to work to strict deadlines
  • Ability to prioritise workload
  • Full UK driving licence and access to own car
